You know sometimes I just have no idea where an idea comes from. \u00a0Case in point the Drying Rack which is my gift for the 2016 Dirty Little Secrets Hunt<\/a> which is running – or if you’re reading this from the future, ran – from 25 Oct through 25 Nov. \u00a0I’m certain SOMETHING put it into my head, but I haven’t a clue what \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Anyway, moving on, the Drying Rack is my latest Pipes & Clamps simple bondage device.\"drying-rack-glamor-600\"<\/p>\n

Using The Drying Rack<\/h3>\n

Like all of my Pipes & Clamps devices the Drying Rack uses my easy to operate RLV system, and my damn clever if I do say so myself adjustment system. \u00a0If you’ve used any of my other devices you pretty much know exactly how to use this one, but just in case…<\/p>\n

Clicking any of the vertical bars – up and down for those of you like me who had to Google “vertical” – will bring up a menu that looks something like this:\"drying-rack-menu-main\"<\/p>\n

If this is your Drying Rack you’ll also see a [Settings]<\/strong><\/span> button but I’ll save that for later. \u00a0For now you’ve got these options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
\"{Btn<\/td>\nScans the surrounding area for potential captives – that is anyone with an active relay except the person clicking the scan button. For that we have…<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"{Btn<\/td>\n\n

Clicking this will cause the Drying Rack\u00a0to try and grab you. If it’s able to do so it will set a random timer and hold you in its not so gentle grasp till then.<\/p>\n

And no, of course you can’t see the timer \ud83d\ude42<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\"{Btn<\/td>\nExactly what it says. \u00a0Clicking this closes the menu and releases the script resources in use.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Once you’ve got a captive the menu options change to something like this:\"drying-rack-menu-captive\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\nReleases the captive and removes all RLV restrictions.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\nThis opens a secondary menu where you can set a delayed release to free your captive after you’ve made good your escape.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\n\n

This button is only available to the owner of the Drying Rack, so if that’s not you you didn’t see this so… \u00a0Never mind I guess?<\/p>\n

On the other hand if you DO see it, clicking it saves the device’s current adjustments so there’s no need to fiddle with them in the future.<\/p>\n

You can also save the position if you’re the captive by pressing both the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard at the same time.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Adjusting the\u00a0Drying Rack<\/h3>\n

Here’s where I traditionally point out that 5’9″ – or 175 cm for the metricly inclined – is\u00a0not short anywhere else in the world but SL, but since the Drying Rack doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world except SL, and since I build everything around myself, and since my SL self is 5’9″, this is where I explain how to use my resizing system.<\/p>\n

Luckily it’s WAY simpler than that last sentence \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Click on any of the horizontal – again, according to Google that’s the ones going left to right or right to left – pipes and you’ll see several pairs of arrows appear:\u00a0\"drying-rack-arrows-500\"<\/p>\n

Clicking a blue arrow will raise that bar, clicking a green arrow will lower it.<\/p>\n

See? \u00a0I told you it was simple \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Settings<\/h3>\n

As promised, here’s what happens if you click the [Settings]<\/strong><\/span> button:\"drying-rack-menu-settings\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\nThese buttons allow the owner to control who can use the Drying Rack’s menu. \u00a0Access level has no effect on who can be caught by the device, simply who can open the menu to use it. \u00a0The options are:<\/p>\n

Public\u00a0<\/strong> – Anyone can operate the main menu.<\/p>\n

Group<\/strong> – Only\u00a0members of the same group to which\u00a0the Drying Rack\u00a0belongs can operate the main menu.<\/p>\n

Owner<\/strong> – meaning only the device’s owner can access the menus.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\n\n

You might recall the [Self Bondage]<\/span> <\/strong>button on the main screen – the one that tries to grab the person clicking it and bind them for a random amount of time? Well the [Self Bondage]<\/span> <\/strong>button in the\u00a0[Settings]<\/span><\/strong> menu is how you can limit that random amount of time.<\/p>\n

Clicking this opens a secondary timer menu which you can use to set the\u00a0maximum<\/strong><\/span> amount of time for the self bondage timer. The actual time will still be randomly set some time between 1 minute and whatever this value is set to.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\nSet the maximum range the Drying Rack\u00a0will look for potential captives.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\nSaves the current position of all of the prims as the default. When a captive is released, or the\u00a0[Reset]<\/strong><\/span> button is pressed the prims will all return to this position.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\nResets all of the scripts in the\u00a0Drying Rack.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\nReturns to the main menu.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"{Btn<\/a><\/td>\nCloses the menu pop up. \u00a0I’m nothing if not consistent \ud83d\ude42<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
