<\/a><\/p>\nAn old friend and former land lord asked if I could help out trying to replicate it and so we took a stab at it. \u00a0The results were… \u00a0Okay… \u00a0I guess… \u00a0Not exactly a show stopper though. \u00a0It was stupidly primmy and I don’t think we ever actually finished the scripts. \u00a0Plus if memory serves the animation fell prey to the SL habit of flattening one’s butt to a right angle.<\/p>\n
A little while ago I stumbled across the sad old thing in my inventory and decided to give it another go from scratch.<\/p>\n
Golly I’ve gotten much better at this:<\/p>\n
Since the timing worked out just about perfectly, the Strappado Arch was my entry in the 2014 D\/s Hunt<\/a> which rans from June 1st through the 30th.<\/p>\n Like most of my bondage toys I’ve tried to keep the Strappado Arch as simple to use as possible. \u00a0If you happen to be standing near one as you read this just click it for the main menu which will look something like this:<\/p>\n See, I told you it was simple. \u00a0Oh, if it’s your Strappado Arch you’ll also have\u00a0a\u00a0Settings<\/strong> option which I’ll cover a little further on.<\/p>\n If we ignore\u00a0Help<\/strong> – which simply opens this web page, there are only two options:<\/p>\n Self Bondage<\/strong> – Clicking this will cause the Strappado Arch to try and grab the person doing the clicking and lock them in place for a random amount of time. \u00a0There aren’t any additional menus or warnings so if you click it you may have to sit a while.<\/p>\n Scan<\/strong> – This scans the surrounding area for potential victims. \u00a0If any are found you’re presented with a list of names from which you can select your victim.<\/p>\n Once someone is in your clutches there are a couple of other options:<\/p>\n Release<\/strong> – Does exactly what it promises and sets your captive free.<\/p>\n Timer<\/strong> – This brings up another menu that lets you sets a delayed release of 10 or more minutes. \u00a0Good for making a getaway before your captive gets loose \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n And that’s pretty much it.<\/p>\n Owners<\/strong><\/p>\n If you’re lucky enough to be the owner of a Strappado Arch then you can configure it using the\u00a0Settings<\/strong> button:<\/p>\n There are really four settings despite all the buttons:<\/p>\n Access<\/strong> – Lets you change who can access the Strappado Arch menu. \u00a0There are three options – Public meaning anyone can access it, Group meaning that only group members wearing their group tag can access it, and Private meaning only you can access it.<\/p>\n Self Bondage<\/strong> – This lets you set the maximum amount of time someone using the\u00a0Self Bondage<\/strong> button in the main menu will be held. \u00a0Since the timer is random the actual time will be between 0 minutes and whatever you set using this function.<\/p>\n Reset<\/strong> – This simply performs a script reset.<\/p>\n Range<\/strong> – This lets you set the range the Strappado Arch will scan when looking for victims from 5 meters to 95.<\/p>\n And that’s REALLY it. \u00a0Once the D\/s Hunt ends I’ll have the Strappado Arch at my shop in Orbitalis<\/a> and also in my Marketplace shop<\/a>. \u00a0If you have any questions or just want to shower me with fortune and glory you can IM me directly<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I’ve been working on fancy camera and environment HUDs for a while now and needed a break. \u00a0Some people go to the beach, I update an ancient bondage toy that a friend and I worked on way before I opened my shop.
